As a 12 year old little girl the things we should get to worry about are how to get good grades in school, what I want to do over summer break and which friends we are going to have sleepovers with. There is a young girl who is near and dear to my heart because I have known her for over four years and she has been a shining example of someone who demonstrates kindness, integrity and shows perseverance on a daily basis. This young girl is someone who has put aside her own struggles and pain to always be there for other kids and help them develop a passion for martial arts just like she has.

Rachel has not always had it easy and has been through a lot in her young life. Right now she is going through the most difficult time of her life as she has suddenly just lost her mother in a split second.  The Deramo family has been so incredibly supportive of others during their times of need and now is our chance to give back to them as they grieve the loss of their wife and mother and try to heal and move on from this difficult time. Times are tough after the Sonoma County Wildfires already and housing is a dire situation to begin with. Now with very limited funds and no where else to go, I wanted to create this fundraising page to raise enough money to help them get through the next 6 months of rent without the worry about getting kicked out of their home too. There isn't the option to move and find something cheaper because frankly in our area right now we are lucky to even have a place to live.  

Please help in any way you can - big or small - every amount will help get this family some stability and make sure the burden of funds is not one they have to carry with them during this difficult situation.
