Deputy Mike Trotter’s Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Deputy Mike Trotter, a 9-year veteran with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, was involved in a severe crash on April 27, 2022. Deputy Trotter’s patrol car was struck by another driver while going through an intersection. Investigators believe the other driver ran a red light just before crashing into Deputy Trotter’s vehicle.

Deputy Trotter was entrapped inside his patrol vehicle for an extended period. Once extracted by Fire and EMS, Deputy Trotter was transported to an area trauma hospital with life-threatening injuries. After hours of surgery, Deputy Trotter was transferred to the ICU, where he remains in critical but stable condition. Deputy Trotter’s injuries are extensive, requiring many more surgeries over the next several weeks.

This fund is to help our best friend Deputy Trotter, his wife and young son with related expenses during the long road to recovery.

*Update: These funds will be provided directly to Mike Trotter and his wife Heather Trotter, and transferred to their account under a beneficiary.
