On Tuesday, Deputy Mike Churney collapsed at home and suffered a non-survivable brain aneurysm.  Soon after he lost his life at the young age of 44, leaving behind a grieving wife & 6 yr old son. An unexpected tragedy his family never imagined.

Mike was a devoted father, husband and deputy sheriff that gave everything to the department, his partners & the residents of LA County. He was always smiling, bringing cheer everyone he came across. And was known as someone that would always be there for you any way he could.
