Deputy Fighting Against Cancer
Donation protected
I am Sheriff Dave Daniel of the Josephine County Sheriff’s Office (Oregon). I am reaching out to you because I have a Deputy that needs your help. Deputy Brad Johnson of our office was diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy and a stem cell bone marrow transplant. Deputy Johnson’s service began in March of 1999. He has served the citizens of Josephine County and our visitors in the jail, as a K-9 Deputy and Patrol Deputy during his tenure. To tell you a little about Deputy Johnson, he is a father, husband and is extremely dedicated to our mission. Early on in his treatment, Deputy Johnson had to be ordered to stay out of uniform due to his passion for public service. He is a selfless member of the Sheriff’s Office and can always be counted on. During the course of his treatment, he has never asked for help so I am asking for him. At this time he is no longer able to work but we know we will get him back. In the meantime he has expenses for travel, food, lodging and medical bills to name a few during his treatment. Deputy Johnson has dedicated his adult life to help others and now he needs our help. If you have the ability to provide support for him at this time, please join me in doing so. Together, we can get him back on the road doing what he loves.
