In April 2023, the DePriest Bend Community Cemetery was hit by a severe storm/tornado. The storm ripped out old-growth trees and damaged a large number of headstones/monuments. Over the years, a small group of individuals have managed the property with the funds provided by a limited number of generous contributors. The costs associated with the repair of the cemetery and stones will be significant. The limited funds currently available will not be sufficient to repair this community landmark. We're asking for your help/donations in repairing the grounds as well as the monuments. Please help remember and honor those who are buried in the cemetery.
