My name is Connor McKee, and I’m starting this fundraiser for a close friend of mine—an active-duty soldier currently deployed overseas. While he's faithfully serving our country, everything he owned back home was either stolen or wrongfully thrown away, and no one is giving him straight answers.

He had placed over $35,000 worth of personal belongings, everything from his gear and tools to electronics, keepsakes, and essential documents—into a storage unit that he’s been consistently paying for.

Recently, a police officer called him about a vehicle stored in the unit, saying it was going to be towed. That was the first sign something was wrong. When another trusted friend and military member went to the unit to check, everything was gone. The unit was completely emptied.

Despite his efforts to get answers from the storage company, they’ve been suspiciously silent:

They won’t provide documentation or clear answers.

They refuse to share the name of the company that supposedly cleared the unit.

They admit that someone took everything but can’t or won’t say who.

This man is currently serving half a world away, with no way to protect what was his. He doesn’t have access to legal help on the ground, and he won’t be home for over a month. While he plans to file a lawsuit, we all know how long legal battles can take—and there's no guarantee of justice.
