Depersonalization Studies

The Initiative for Depersonalization Studies is a non-profit foundation dedicated to continuing education, research, and media coverage concerning Depersonalization/Derealization Disorder. DDD, also known as DPD is the third most common psychiatric symtom. While listed in virtually every psychiatric diagostic manual, including the DSM-5 and the ICD, it remains obscure in the medical community, under-researched, and highly misunderstood. Existing studies indicate that the number of sufferers surpasses that of schizophrenia and bipolar disorder combined. For more information about DDD visit our link and join the IDS facebook group. Every dollar donated will go to the purposes stated herein, and specifically to the scheduling of our first national conference in NYC, which will be open to registrants and feature the world's leading experts on the medical, psychological and philosophical aspects of this fascinating condition. www.depersonalization.info
