It is with a heavy heart to communicate the news of the recent passing of our brother, friend, son & father, Carlos Hurtado. There’s no easy way to process this tragedy since he was such a significant person & cherished by so many people.
We would like to respectively ask everyone with a little help for the funeral costs for our beloved, Carlos. It is extremely difficult to write this as we’re never prepared to lose a cherished love one. This happened unexpectedly & had blindsided everyone.
Any kind of donation made will go towards his four children, and funeral arrangements. Your help is highly appreciated, and may God bless you all from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you to everyone that has reached out to our families; your love and support mean the world to us during this difficult moment.

***I wanted to clarify that for those that don't already know: I, Yadira Martinez from Virginia, am the organizer for this fundraiser. I'm Carlos Hurtado's sister and the donations made to this fundraiser are going towards paying the funeral home and cemetery expenses for my brother. I am the person in charge of organizing and arranging payments to both the funeral home and cemetery. ***
We also wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for your generosity. We are humbled by all the love & support. I have not been able to get through all the messages without breaking down and having to step away, but please know that I'm reading them and will reply to all of you soon.
