Deon & her family

I'm reaching out to you today with a heartfelt request. My name is Becka and I am asking for your support for a dear friend, Deon.

Deon a 31 year old mother to three young children has recently been diagnosed with a benign lession on her hearing nerve. This tumor is growing from her ear drum, pressing against her brain and due to the size of it requires urgent action.

Deon is scheduled for two major surgeries in mid October (the first being on the 13th) at Deriford hospital. The risks are significant but Deon and her family are staying positive and holding onto hope.

During this challenging time, not knowing how long she'll be in hospital for or how long recovery will take Deon will be unable to work as a carer and her partner will also need to take time off to support her.

This will undoubtedly cause financial strain.

I am hoping to raise funds to help ease their financial burden during this difficult period.
