I have created this fundraiser on behalf of Dray Baber, Deon Babers son. All funds are directly for Deon’s cremation services and kids travel expenses.

We gather here today with heavy hearts to remember and honor Deon Baber, who left us far too soon on March 14, 2026.

He was more than just a father, grandfather, brother, and friend, he was a protector, and a light in the lives of so many. If you knew him, you knew his spirit. He had a way of making people feel welcome, of bringing laughter into even the hardest moments, and of living life with a kind of adventure, freedom and passion that was truly his own.

He loved deeply—especially his children, who were his greatest pride and joy. Everything he did, he did with them in his heart. The bond he shared with them is something that will never be broken, even in his absence.

Losing him in such a sudden and tragic way has left a space that can never be filled. But in that grief, we also hold on to the memories—the rides, the stories, the laughter, the moments that made him who he was. Those memories are a gift, and they will stay with us always.

As we come together to honor his life, we also want to support the family he loved so much. We are asking, if you are able, for donations to help with funeral expenses and to assist with travel and care for his children during this incredibly difficult time. Any support, no matter the size, means more than words can express.

More than anything, we ask that you keep his children and our family in your thoughts and prayers. Let us carry forward his spirit by loving each other a little harder, living a little freer, and never taking a single moment for granted.

We will miss him beyond measure, but we will never forget him.
