Deon and Karen Swart Memorial

Hi, my name is Matt Wilkinson, Lelanie Wilkinson is my wife and the only surviving child of Deon and Karen Swart. We just recently lost both of her parents within 9 days of one another. Deon passed due to heart failure on January 7th, 2023 and Karen passed on January 16th, 2023 due to complications from over 30 years of having MS. Karen was bedridden for about the last 12 years and Deon was her caretaker until his health took a severe turn for the worse in December 2022. Deon and Karen were poor and as a result Deon let his life insurance lapse which we did not find out about until a week prior to his passing. Had we known, Lelanie and I would have paid it for him. The photo you see is Deon and Karen in their respective hospital beds at our home. When Deon was informed by his doctors that he would not survive remaining tied to daily dialysis treatments and IV heart meds all he wanted was to see Karen once again before he passed. We are planning a joint memorial for Deon and Karen next month on their wedding anniversary. We are requesting funds to help us pay for the service. Please help if you are able. God Bless.
