Hi I'm Denver, from Adelaide in so called Australia, not Colorado, and I'm getting Top Surgery on the 2nd July!
It's so soon which is exciting but it's going to cost close to $16,000 and that doesn't include the cost of living for the month I have to take off from teaching, though I have planned it over school holidays to reduce the cost of recovery. I don't have much saved because of rent being wildly expensive in Adelaide and teaching not having a lucrative salary. However, I am fortunate enough to be able to borrow what I cannot raise, but I'm just trying to reduce how much debt I go into to get my body to reflect who I am inside (below- this gay cowboi).
I feel bad asking for money when there's so many other worthy causes at this time that need support, but I wouldn't ask for what I wouldn't be willing to give to myself, so here I am asking for support after years of giving to other trans gender-affirming surgeries... There were so many signs!

- I run a monthly fun community line dancing event for free, so you're not just supporting me but other abominable queers and friends of queers
- You have a six figure income and don't need to think twice about buying coffee out
- I do my part to contribute to worthy causes regularly including donating directly to local first nations people
- You don't need to get blind drunk this weekend and you can spare me some coin instead
- I will trade you some of my artwork or a shirt if you ask nicely (and donate more than the cost of making and posting those things)
