Dear friends, I have worked with a refugee family in the DC area for four years. I started as a volunteer, helping kids with homework and opening mail together, but over the years we have become friends. I still help them in any way I can; with your help, we raised enough money last year to buy them a used car, when their previous car was stolen, and the insurance didn't cover it.

Now I am trying to help my friend, a hard-working man here with a wife and six kids, to fix his teeth and live a pain-free life. (We had done this once already, for the most urgent work, and he is grateful for that. But now we need to go further.)

He is in pain. He needs multiple extractions, fillings, cleaning, and other work. Medicaid covers some of it; the total cost he is responsible for is $6,072. I was hoping that if we all pitch in a little, we would be ae to gather $3,000, which would cover half of the cost. This would be immensely helpful to him. I promise to pitch in myself and top it off with 10% of whatever sum we manage to raise.
Thank you for your goodwill and help. You would be doing a humane thing by donating.
