We are raising funds to support medical costs for a community cat in one of the large cat colonies in Harrisonburg named John Boy. He recently went to the vet with inflammation in his mouth and drooling. He was diagnosed with stomatitis. This is painful and severe inflammation of the mouth, affecting the gums, cheeks, and tongue. It can cause significant discomfort, leading to reduced appetite, weight loss, and difficulty grooming. He is currently on medication to help him feel better, but because of the severity of his condition, the veterinary recommended a full mouth extraction. While it's a significant procedure, we believe it is the best course of action and that his symptoms will quickly improve after surgery.
Anything helps and is very appreciated to help John Boy get on the road to recovery!
