Dental Mission to Roatán Honduras June ’24

Thank you guys so much! My goal of collecting 2700 for the dental mission trip has been met for me personally. Any donation over the total will be given to other classmates coming on this trip. The cost of each one of us is 2700. 

I am so grateful and appreciative of the support and kindness you guys have given me. It warms my heart. I will do good work for everyone, learn all I can and become skilled. I will share your compassion for others  and truly appreciate y’alls support on this mission. Thank you!

Thank you for your valuable time. I feel incredibly fortunate and grateful to have been given such a clear purpose for my life and career – aspiring to be an excellent dentist and educator, dedicated to providing top-notch care locally and internationally. 

I’m Ronald Edwin Owens II, a third-year dental student at the Dental College of Georgia. Alongside nine other students, I’ve been chosen to travel to Roatán, Honduras in June 2024 where we will offer free dental care. During this weeklong mission, we aim to perform various dental procedures; many extractions, functional restorations and cosmetic restorations. We also seek to enhance our skills as student dentists by working in a brand new setting away from the school. We will be learning from Dr. Kenneth McMillan of Stone Mountain Georgia and his hand selected team of other expert dentists. The care we will provide will be accessible to all who need it with no affiliation or prerequisite. We will be providing the highest standard of care and are bringing a lot of cutting edge supplies with us. Students from years past have gained invaluable knowledge and experience from this opportunity and I look forward to this as well.

To support this mission, I need your help to raise $2700. This will cover the Dental Inventory we bring, airfare, food, and lodging expenses. Your generosity and prayers are sincerely welcomed!
