Dental Emergency and Fallout

Recently, I've had several unforeseen events that have drastically effected my financial stability.

About a month ago, one of my teeth shattered. I was finally able to get dental surgery last week, but after insurance, it was $4,000. This was already a great stressor on me, but I was able to get financing at the dental office.

Yesterday, when I returned to work from my leave recovering from said surgery, I became aware that the PTO I'd requested weeks ago had not been logged. I have re-submitted it, but this means that a full week's pay will be missing from my next check.

This would be a big blow in any circumstances, but given the proximity of the events, as well as the general economic climate, it threatens to be devastating.
