In Loving Memory of Edna "Trudy" Haffley ❤️

Donation protected
Hello to our family, friends and Co-workers. For those that don't know me personally, I am David Denoncourt's wife and partner since 2003. David's Mother, who sadly passed away peacefully at home early Tuesday morning March 22nd 2022 at 1:57am. I am writing this letter in hopes to cover some funeral expenses for my mother-in-law, Edna "Trudy" Haffley.
Back in December she started a long road of a hard battle. Continuously at the hospital. She was strongly fighting a losing battle everyday, just to have the next. She hated the hospital with every ounce of her soul. So as a family we decided she would live out what she wanted more than ever... TO BE HOME.  She wanted the comfort of her bed, the TV blaring in the background with her favorite shows, which would include anything on lifetime or a rerun of a funny sitcom. She hated to leave my father-in-law's side. Where she felt safe and loved. And maybe sometimes annoyed (lol).
She also wanted to come home and try to indulge in anything better than what we all know as yucky hospital food. A sloppy Joe, spaghetti and meatballs, slice of pizza from Capri's, cheeseburger from McDonald's and a sweet chocolate frosted donut from Dunkin' Donuts.
Sadly once home she declined dramatically fast. Please know she was peaceful and pain-free in her final days transitioning. She was surrounded by her "loves" EVERYDAY. Gary and I never left her side. David was there with her, all day everyday. Gary my father-in-law was a true hero during all of this sacrificing his own well being to allow her to have all she wanted. He was always there. They are true Soulmates.
I know my husband, her son David is a proud man. David is a family man of 6. As everyone knows he is an exceptionally hard worker, who treats his job like home. He dedicates his all into his company and thrives on pleasing others. This my friends and family is why I decided to reach out on this platform to help David out in such a fragile situation. I would like us to give back to a selfless man. He could use some weight lifted off his shoulders with the unfortunate expenses that come at this tragic moment.
Some might not of known Trudy. But let me tell you that her pride & joy was her ONLY child, our David. He was and always will be a Mammas Boy. She like every single mother, struggled to raise a son by herself. Now as my husband and my bestfriend. I can say she did a fantastic job. Because of her I have fell in love with the sweetest, kindest, most SELFLESS person I have ever met. I have thank her for raising Dave to be such a remarkable good man, a wonderful caring father to all four of our children, and certainly I am biased but the WORLDS BEST HUSBAND!!!
I'm aware in this post-covid world things are tight in a lot of homes. That is why I set the goal for only a small portion of expenses that are needed. If everyone donated even a small donation it would truly add up to this goal. Every donation matters.
* To all in advance who will support and donates to Trudy & David. Thank you!
Thank you with every fiber of my body. This means so much to the Denoncourt family. God Bless ♡
