I am very humbly attempting to raise funds in order to help honor our beloved nephew, son, brother, uncle and friend Dennis Davy whose life was tragically cut short due to years of complications from Epilepsy, and Epileptic seizures, mental illness, and ultimately the insidious and unintentional introduction of the epidemic of opioids in his vulnerable diagnosed conditions. I am Denny's Uncle Paul. I love Denny very much and always understood his illness and his difficulties in trying to battle it. There aren't enough words to explain the deep understanding love I, along with many other family members and friends have for Denny. I have many nieces and nephews and love them all, but Denny and I always had a connection that we both recognized in our souls. I am attempting to, and hoping for the compassion, kindness, caring, and loving selfless generosity of any folks that could do anything that they could in order to collectively be able to purchase a gravestone, or headstone for Denny's grave site that has laid unmarked since his passing in April of 2016. I am reaching out to anyone that may able to help now because of my love for Denny and because Denny's family, through all everyone's best efforts have not been able to be in a position to afford the pretty hefty cost for what Monument companies need in order to create a grave marker. It is very sadly overdue, and to me is heartbreaking. Denny was a very kind, compassionate, caring, deeply feeling and loving boy and man who became another casualty in this worlds continued battle with, and for folks like Denny, in families with mental illness. This disease is talked about daily, and concerns are talked about more publicly, in the news, and social media these days. That is a very good thing, but in all the discussion, those of us effected by it always think of the individual people afflicted by these illnesses, and we always feel the effects of it. It is my desire for Denny's memory, and life to be remembered and honored with a marker. In order to honor him, remember him, and in order to remember and remind all of the gift in our lives that was Denny. Thank you!
