Denny Thrift and Family Recovery Fund!

Denny has always been one to help anyone in need without hesitation. He has always been there for his friends and family and a constant supporter in my life.

For the last 16 months he has gone through numerous surgeries stemming from a work-related injury and complications healing because of diabetes. After multiple surgeries, he unfortunately lost his leg. He was the sole provider for his family after his wife (my mother) Karen became caretaker for her mother Kitty, (a legend in her own right, Kitty has housed and fed more local and touring musicians than I can name.) and now Denny.

He and my mother are now battling worker’s comp negotiations to reinstate income. His boss improperly filed his case which has caused considerable delays on payment. Denny was such the hard worker that he had 16 months of vacation & sick time built up and has been using that, until now. Until the worker’s comp is approved, they will be unable to recieve any income.

On top of all this his daughter (my sister) who also lives with them has to get a full hip replacement due to arthritis. This has kept her from working to help with the bills.

If anyone can show some love to a man who has always given his, it would be incredible! This isn’t something they wanted to ask for, but at this point it’s necessary. I wish I had the ability to support them through this entire process but it’s beyond my capabilities.
