Dennis J Mastriani passed away on Sunday, May 29th.
Within only a two month period, Denny was diagnosed with severely metastasized stage IV lung cancer, which spread to his liver and took him from us, despite our best efforts to save him.
Denny was a selfless, caring and devoted husband and one of his last wishes was that this fund be set up to provide financial support for his loving wife: Martha Moore Westbrook, in an attempt to provide her with financial relief from the expenses incurred from all of the costs associated with: medical bills, income loss, and funeral expenses.
Any possible monetary gift would be very much appreciated towards helping Martha adjust to an ongoing life without Denny and would allow her to keep her house and alleviate the impending financial devastation, due to this tragic and insurmountable circumstance.
For those who had the privilege of knowing him, Denny was many things, among them: a serious, yet whimsical and caring friend, a compassionate advisor, and protective advocate.
Many of us, including his Masonic brothers are shocked by the senseless immediacy of his passing, but Denny had strong resolve, deep faith, and did not fear death. He would expect us all to transcend ourselves from this experience and while drawing from our own inner strength, learn from this experience, and appreciate the time we have on this Earth together.
