Denny Gruendner’s Funeral

Donation protected
Hello we’re the Gruendner family. Sadly and very unexpectedly we have lost a father, son, brother, uncle, grandpa, and friend. This holiday our lives were forever altered when Denny died peacefully in his sleep. Denny Gruendner was an amazing man with huge dreams and an even larger heart who had a way of making every person he met feel like a lifelong friend. He made his family and small village In Eastern Germany proud by becoming a success in America and sharing his German culture with Westerners through his delicious breads and pastries. A truly dedicated man to his family; he never let distance stop him from staying extremely close; he called his sister and mother in Germany every single day! He made life like a movie for his family and friends both in America and in Europe. He loved his children more than life itself and vowed to give them more than he could have ever dreamed of. His love for life and eyes full of sparkle brought endless opportunities to this small town foreigner from meeting great chefs like Wolfgang Puck to being featured on The Food Network. No matter how long he lived in America he saw himself as a “prolonged tourist” and always shared how amazing America was to him. Through his eyes even the smallest place, road trip, chance meeting or event seemed grand as every moment was truly special to him. WE LOVED AND CHERISHED DENNY. He will forever be missed and his absence forever felt. Due to the timing and unexpectedness of our loss we are utterly unprepared emotionally and financially to handle this situation. If you can please help us send Denny off properly and enable his family and friends to see him one last time to say goodbye. Anything helps big or small. WE LOVE AND Thank you ALL in advance for your thoughts, prayers, and support during our time of need. EYES OPENED 9/18/80 EYES CLOSED 12/26/23
