Help Us Honor a Loving Father’s Life

Hi, my name is Brie, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of one of my best friends, Kortney, who is currently going through the most heartbreaking and difficult time of her life.

Her father, Dennis, is in hospice care and declining rapidly. Each day, she sits by his side, watching him struggle to breathe, trying to bring comfort while carrying the heavy burden of knowing that time is running out. Amidst her grief, she is also facing an overwhelming financial reality: she doesn’t have the means to cover his funeral expenses, burial plot, headstone, or even his daily medications — which the VA is no longer covering.

To make things even more challenging, Kortney hasn’t been able to work due to a pending knee surgery, and her husband is doing everything he can to keep their household afloat. The financial strain is crushing, and it's making an already painful situation feel impossible.

Her only wish right now is to give her father the dignified farewell he deserves.

This fundraiser will help cover:

• Funeral service and cremation/burial expenses

• A proper burial plot and headstone

• Her father’s out-of-pocket medical costs

• Immediate living expenses while she cares for her dad full-time
