On July 24, 2020, Dennis Weaver tragically and suddenly passed away after complications from a routine operation. Dennis - known by all simply as "Weave" - dedicated his life to youth sports in Manchester. He helped to build the Coffee County softball program in the 90s and also spent decades as the radio voice of Coffee County athletics on Thunder Radio. He helped to launch broadcasting programs that ensured hundreds of student athletes in Coffee County were heard on local radio.
During this extremely devastating and difficult time, Weave's wife, Christine, will need immediate assistance with day-today living expenses due to the immediate loss of his income.
We are asking the community to come together and help out with this cause. Once expenses are paid and settled, any leftover money will be donated back to the "Dream for Weave" foundation, which will make an effort to provide equipment and supplies to youth sports across Manchester and offer scholarships to graduating seniors from Coffee County High School.
