Dennis John "DJ" Pierce - End-Of-Life Costs

Hi, my name is Evan Eisenhardt, and I am fundraising for my little brother, Dennis John “DJ” Pierce.

DJ was my brother-in-law, my little brother, my friend, and an amazing father, husband, brother and son.

On Friday, April 7th, at 4:45 pm, DJ lost his short and fierce battle with cancer. I am reaching out for assistance with all the expenses that come with cancer and end-of-life. DJ has left behind his wife, Stephanie and their two precious sons, little Dennis John “DJ” (2.5), his namesake, and little Nicholas (1), his little baby boy. Stephanie and the kids can use our support to help them get through this immensely difficult time.

In February (2023), 2 short months ago, DJ went into the emergency room for back pain. Upon further evaluation, they found cancer, in his bones. Within the following couple weeks, they determined that it was Stage 4 Stomach Cancer and had metastasized throughout his body including his bones and bone marrow. DJ fought tirelessly and fearlessly over the last 2 months, alongside his family and friends. He began treatment within a few weeks of his diagnosis but was unable to continue as the cancer spread too rapidly and he became untreatable.

DJ is known for his incredible sense of humor, his talent for impersonating just about everyone and anyone, as well as his unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. He is a passionate brother, son, friend, husband, and father. DJ touched the hearts and minds of everyone that he encountered. His passing is an incredible loss, to everyone that has known him and loved him. Words cannot describe the hole he has left in everyone’s heart, especially his wife Stephanie and his two little boys.

We are asking for your support in the form of a donation to help pay for the abundance of medical expenses, transportation, cremation, visitation, burial, and the celebration of his life. Any additional funds raised will go to his family to assist with living costs including mortgage payments, meals and childcare during their grief as well as towards a college fund for his little boys.
