I am a daughter just trying to help her parents out in any way I can. Therefore, I have started this page to help offset the cost of lost wages, travel, food, and any other expenses that may occur. Dennis and Michelle would never ask for a dime from anyone and that’s exactly why I am doing this. My wish is for them to go through this journey without having to stress over their finances and expenses being away from home. Both Dennis and Michelle will be out of work for the next few weeks as they travel to Chicago for surgery and recovery after.

As some of you may know, Dennis and his family received the news no one ever wants to hear… again. On December 24th, he went in for an MRI and a tumor was found. It is in the same place as the last one (part of the brain that controls motor skills and speech). He immediately decided to contact the Cancer Treatment Center of America (CTCA), in Chicago, to start journey #2 with Brain Cancer after 9 years of being cancer free. After consulting with his Neurologist and Oncologist at CTCA, they have decided to go in quickly to remove the tumor Thursday, January 26th and will begin treatment shortly after. This will possibly be a very long journey. We are very thankful for the quick response and combativeness toward this tumor! Dennis is ready to fight again and get this behind him because he has family and friends that love him.
