What began as a campaign to raise funds for a liver transplant (see information below) has now, sadly, turned into a campaign to help lay Dennis to rest. Dennis went home to heaven on November 12, 2019. The conditions of his health just became insurmountable. We now ask not only for continued prayers, but also any small donation you may be able to make to help Celeste and the family.
Thank You in advance, and may God Bless you all.
(initial campaign post)
To say that the Crafts have had a rough time as of late would be an understatement. After just suffering a heart attack in April 2018, Dennis was recently diagnosed with Cirrhosis of the liver. Initially diagnosed at Stage 3 as little as 2 months ago, his liver enzyme levels jumped to an extremely high level, and he is now at Stage 4, requiring a liver transplant. It is important to note that this condition is NOT a result of alcohol, but rather, his condition is caused by a fatty liver.
To date, Dennis has been unable to get on disability, and the hard times are just beginning as he will be traveling to MUSC in Charleston along with his wife Celeste in hopes of receiving a much needed liver transplant. As you can imagine, this will require a lot of unanticipated funds, especially since Celeste will be missing work in order to be there with him.
We have created this go fund me in order to help pay substantial medical bills while allowing Celeste to stay by Dennis's side. All support is appreciated at this time. It is a wonderful thing when a community can come together to support one of their own in a time of need. We Thank You in advance for any amount you may be able to contribute.
