Dennis Briggs

Hi. I am Terri Briggs. My husband is Dennis Briggs. Some know of his medical condition, and some wonder why Dennis hasn't been around to socialize while helping others - a trait of his I have always admired.

Unfortunately, this past July Dennis became severely ill. Initially, the first few months he was in and out of hospitals with no proven diagnosis. There were many tests performed and theories; however, no answer as to why he is constantly dizzy, unable to walk, unable to eat, and vision is poor.

Today, Dennis has lost over 50 lbs. He is unable to walk, unable to see (focus), unable to perform any task no matter how simple it may be. Rather, he sits very still on the couch and listens to conversations. He's very weak and therefore, tends to sleep often.

At the present, we are hopeful this nightmare soon ends. Dennis has a couple more tests to complete before he can be medically cleared for possible surgery.

It's been a long six months battling this illness. In just one second, I watched an energetic guy suddenly become totally disabled, unable to enjoy life.

Dennis and me truly appreciate the prayers sent our way, the cards sent by family, and the phone calls from friends that have been there since day one. Also, a shout out to his co-workers for being there in time of need. We cannot thank you enough!
