Denna Laing's Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Hi everyone!
I am starting this fund in support of a dear college friend, Denna Laing.
Denna was in my eating club, not to mention a total stud out on the ice as a member of the Princeton Women's Varsity Hockey team.
On December 31st she was able to fulfill one of her biggest dreams by participating in the inaugural Women's Winter Classic Hockey tournament at Gillette Stadium. Sadly, she suffered a severe spinal injury and has since been paralyzed from the chest down. But believe me when I say that she is one of the most inspirational people you will ever meet. Despite these trying circumstances, she continues to wear an infectious smile and display unremitting resolve and determination during her rehabilitation.
I plan on visiting Denna once a month in Boston, and am hoping that the next time I go I will not be empty-handed. It wasn't until I visited her in person and got a chance to speak to her family, that I truly understood the overwhelmingly pervasive cost of her injury. So, I have started this GoFundMe on her behalf. I would greatly appreciate it if you all could help me help her.
Thank you in advance for your help!
My very best,
Jonathan
