Hi, my name is Nancy, Denisia Dikes' Aunt. It is with great sadness that I am writing this, as we lost a beautiful soul on May 3, 2022, due to a tragic and unexpected incident. At 30 years old, Denisia passed away in the early morning despite efforts to revive her. She left behind two young children and a family who loved her dearly. Denisia was a special person, and her strength to raise two children as a single mom was incredible. She navigated life's struggles in the best way she could amongst her own mental health battles. Denisia was never alone in this journey and had friends and family who cared so much about her and truly wanted the best for her and her children. Denisia is a daughter, granddaughter, mother, cousin, sibling, and friend, and we will cherish the positive memories we have with her. She had a fierce soul and never failed to make anyone feel comfortable and accepted for who they were without judgment. Due to the unexpected loss, we are asking for donations to help with funeral costs and anything else to support her family and children during these challenging times.
