Denise’s Ovarian Cancer Battle

Dear Family and Friends,

*update** Denise meet with her oncologist today for the results of her PET scan. They diagnosed her within aggresive, rare form of  ovarian cancer that has spread to her colon. They will do surgery on her colon and do a hysterectomy first and then they will do chemo on her ovarian cancer for at least 15 weeks. This will be a long road but with prayers and support Denise will beat this horrible cancer. ❤️
 

Many of you may not be aware yet, but Denise was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer  on March 8, 2019. This came as a major shock since she has not had any symptoms leading up this daiganosis. However, it still comes with a large burden, emotionally and financially.

At this time, there is still a lot of unknowns to be determined by her oncologist and surgeon. We do know that she will need quite a few more extensive tests, and a minimum of 2 surgeries, which will include a couple of hospital stays.

As you may be aware, she has been self-employed for many years and her insurance is very minimal, which means most of the financial costs will be out of pocket for her. At this point, we are not sure when she will be able to return to work. We are asking for donations to help Denise pay for her medical bills and upcoming surgeries.

                                      - Anesthesiology bills
                                      - Hospital stays
chemotherapy sessions 


If you have ever had the pleasure of working with, being related to and/or being blessed to call DENISE your family or friend, then you know what this is about. THIS is about SUPPORTING one of the strongest, hardest working, most compassionate and fun women that you will ever meet as she battles Colon Cancer.

Anyone that knows Denise knows that she would never ask for a help, so as a family we are rallying around and asking for help and support on her behalf. Denise has the biggest heart and is always the first person to help others in any way that she can. Let’s all return the love and support that she has provided to all of us over the years.
