Hello, my name is Denise Rodriguez, and I’m reaching out to share my story with you, in hopes of finding support during one of the most difficult times of my life.

In July 2024, I was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and Palpable Carcinoma of the Intramammary Lymph Node. The diagnosis hit me hard, but I was determined to face it head-on with faith, courage, and the support of my loved ones. I began chemotherapy, which, though incredibly tough, has been a necessary step toward getting me closer to healing. However, the journey is far from over.

Next, I’ll be undergoing major surgery to remove the mass and affected lymph nodes, followed by reconstructive surgery. After recovering from those procedures, I will also need to complete 16 rounds of targeted radiation. All of these treatments and surgeries are necessary to give me the best chance at beating this cancer, but the costs involved are overwhelming.

Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses are far more than my family and I can manage on our own. It is incredibly difficult for me to ask for help, but the financial burden is something we simply cannot carry by ourselves. I have always believed that God helps those who help themselves, and I’ve been doing everything I can to navigate this journey with strength and resilience.

But now, I need your help. No amount is too small, and every bit will make a difference as I work to overcome this battle and rebuild my life. Your support will help cover medical bills, treatments, and other essential needs during this time of recovery.
