Innocent victim of negligent Street racing

Hi, My name is Stacy Belmontes and I am raising funds for an amazing family who started out as my clients and quickly became my friends. Denise and Richard were living their best lives together and looking for a home to call their own. As we were anxiously waiting for that call to come in that their offer was accepted, Richard sadly received a very unexpected call that Denise had been involved in an auto accident in East Austin on 2/14/2023 that she did not make it out of. Richard and his daughter, Destiny's lives have forever changed. Denise was a victim to a senseless act of street racing where she was struck from behind from an out of control vehicle. Richard and Destiny are now looking for alternative housing since the rental they were in was in Denise's name and now they don't have her income. This family is so deserving of the communities help and would be forever grateful for any support you can give. This cannot bring Denise back and they have a long road ahead of them. This fundraiser however can help to ease the financial burden they are going thru and get them into a house. Anything you can give is greatly appreciated and this is setup with Richard as the beneficiary so all funds go directly to him and his family for their housing, lost wages, lawyer and current daily needs.

The person responsible for this tragedy is in police custody. 

Parents - Talk to your children. Remind them they are not invincible and to use caution when operating a vehicle.

Adults - Do the right thing and drive accordingly.

The roads are a dangerous place. Texting, Racing, Speeding etc. Often times accidents could have been avoided if that person was just paying attention. . . . .
