Denise Traczek's Journey

The journey began many years ago when mom was diagnosed with Non-Alcoholic Cirrhosis of the Liver in 2011, after being sick with an unknown diagnosis for several years.  She was put on the liver transplant list in 2013.  The time has come and she is receiving the transplant that she needs to get her life back.  While this is a blessing for our family, the transplant expenses are high.  Not only is the surgery an exponential amount of that, the after care of lodging near the hospital, meals for our dad, gas to drive from CO Springs to Denver multiple times a week for testing in the months following transplant, and anti-rejection medications for life all play a part.  Dad has not been working for a while now, as he has been mom’s primary caretaker.  Our family appreciates any donation, no matter the amount, to help our parents as they start this new chapter in mom’s life.  Most importantly, we ask for continued prayers for her healing and recovery.  Prayer requests for her donor are also needed; that eternal rest may be grant upon them.
