Denise Schnettler Hartman’s relief fund!

Our sweet Aunt Denise is going through an incredibly difficult time.

She’s facing serious health concerns and undergoing testing to find relief, all while carrying a heavy emotional and financial burden. As a result, she’s had to take a leave of absence from work, which has only added to the stress.

With limited income, the costs of co-pays and medical expenses are simply too much for her to manage alone.

We’re asking for your help.

Late March I had what I thought was a pulled muscle, which turned into a dislocated rib diagnosis. 4 months of pushing through pain and no sleep, multiple Dr and ER visits. I had to go through 6 weeks of Physical Therapy before BC/BS would even authorize an MRI. My MRI was Sunday, July 6th at Covenant in Saginaw. My son Chad took me to the ER first but they would have had to reschedule the MRI. So i managed to get through the MRI and then went straight to ER. Based on MRI results and the amount of pain I was in they admitted me with 4 probable areas of cancer. Two of which have been eliminated thanks to your prayers. The 2 that are left are a mass in my right lung and a lesion between my 8th and 9th left rib. My lung biopsy is Wednesday, Rib lesion biopsy is Friday. I was supposed to be discharged from the hospital on Thursday but due to sleep deprivation my RN Angel named Jacob advocated for me to stay one more night with focus on sleep. I was hallucinating, not making much sense when I spoke, shaking like I had Parkinson’s and stuttering. I got 10 hours of sleep that night. I will never forget him. My pain is now controlled, but I am still shaking and and sometimes stuttering. I’m hoping my nervous system will reset. Chad, Chase and Bailey are now my caretakers because I can no longer take care of myself. They are taking excellent care of me, and my family is surrounding me with love and taking over my caregiver roles to my Mom. I am truly humbled by the amount of love i am surrounded with. For now my stress level HAS to be ZERO, I need SLEEP, I need to start EATING so I am strong enough to have my biopsies next week and then possibly chemo. PLEASE continue to pray for me. Please light a candle in Church for me. When we have biopsy results either I or my Son will make an update on my page. Let’s try and pray away the scary C word for my last 2. God is good, and I’m placing myself in his hands and letting him takeover. I love you all - Denise
