Denise needs a new van to save all the animals

This is my good friend Denise Maldonado. I guarantee you have never met anyone more devoted to animals, kind, generous and just an incredible human being. I am so proud to know her. She plays one of the most important roles in dog rescue- she is the transporter that gets the dogs from the shelters to the rescues that will give them the life they deserve. Undergoing treatment for cancer- she did not ever take a break from rescuing. She has never ever asked for anything. Denise spends every single day transporting dogs (*cats, pigs…) anywhere they will need to go to be safe. Thousands of animals a year. (And that is not an exaggeration. ) She transports dogs from Mexico and all over California to wherever they need to be. Arkansas, Colorado, Nevada- doesn’t matter. She is there. And the dogs are safe, loved and watched on the way. She is an angel and a hero to so many. She has been driving an old mini van (*and rents when needed) and never ever complains. If a dog is in need- she is there. She is a gem. This evening Denise (*while transporting a dog and 2 pigs to a sanctuary) got into a terrible car accident. The animals on board are ok - she is hurt but will be ok. But the only thing that she said to me was “I am not leaving these animals” . When the paramedics and police arrived she refused medical care until the animals are safe. She wasn’t leaving them. This is the type of human she is. So while Denise is sitting in her totalled van- I am writing this asking everyone to help us get her a new van. I can’t think of anyone in the world more deserving than her. So please share her story- and let’s get her a new van that can carry so many more animals out of misery to their new life. I am so honored to know Denise.
