Denise Kidney Transplant

Hello, my name is Denise Quintero, and I appreciate you reading my story. I am currently on the list for a kidney transplant. When I was 19, I was diagnosed with lupus nephritis which affects my kidneys. For years, I had it controlled, but there were times that I had flare ups and was hospitalized and even had to use chemotherapy to get better. Even though I was in remission, my kidneys continued to get worse and now at 33 I have been on dialysis for the past 2 years, and will continue to be on dialysis until I receive the call for a transplant. While being on dialysis, I had to stop working, and my family and I became a one income family, which has been a struggle. Unfortunately, life and bills don’t stop because your kidney failed. My family and I would appreciate any donations for any expenses that may come up during this time.Any amount you’re willing to contribute is greatly appreciated and if you aren’t able to contribute money at this time a share with your friends and family would mean the world to me, and prayers.  Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
