Denise lived life to the fullest, always smiling and putting a smile on anyone’s face she came into contact with. She had a heart of gold, she took care of Maxx for the first six years of his life and loved him like he was her fourth child. She was passionate about her work, was working towards her own business, supermom to Anthony, Samantha and Dylan and a loving wife to Nuno. Denise was our superwoman. We looked at her in awe of how she was able to do it all so effortlessly. 

Heartbreakingly, after a strong fight against cancer, Denise, only 36, passed away November 24th, 2018. Denise’s last wish was that her children would attend college and learn the skills to have successful careers. 

I will run the half marathon January 20th, 2019 in Central Park to raise money for Denise’s childrens’ college fund and to honor her memory.
