Thank you all for your support, your kindness has warmed my heart.

Mom fell ill while on vacation to celebrate her 60th birthday. She fiercely fought for 8 days in the hospital and got released back home from San Luis Obispo where she quickly regressed.

She was admitted to the SFVA hospital on 5/2. She was septic, the toxins in her blood were critically high. Her kidneys and liver shut down. They placed her on life support and gave her every chance possible. She was a true warrior overcoming hurdle after hurdle. Per her wishes, we removed the supports and surrounded her with love during her final transition on 5/31.

You have reminded me that David and I are not alone. Your calls, texts, emails, visits, and surprise meals have kept us afloat.

If inclined, any donations made will go directly to her funeral expenses. She was cremated at Duggan's Mortuary and will be laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma.
