Denise Elizabeth Field, Niche, NeeNee- October 20, 1950 to December 26, 2023

As you may know, Denise Elizabeth Field passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 26. My name is Terri Hicks. My family and I are raising funds to help cover some of the expenses from her unexpected passing. Some of her friends called her Elizabeth, but Denise, as I know her, and I met in the late 70s, when we both worked at the National Sheriffs' Association. She has lived with us for most of the last 20 years. She is our family and her passing has left a void that will not soon be filled.

On Wednesday, January 24, we will be gathering at 7:00 PM for an informal celebration of life at the Alexandria History Museum at The Lyceum, one of the several museums where Denise devoted many hours. Her colleagues and friends agreed that a museum that promoted education locally in Old Town Alexandria, a city that she loved and knew so much about, would be a great place to remember her.
