It is with a heavy and broken heart that we announce the death of our dear loving mother, Denise A. Lewandowski. Unfortunately, her passing was sudden, leaving us unprepared for the financial aspects of saying goodbye. She was a pillar of strength and kindness, always putting her family and community first. Her selflessness, love, and unwavering dedication to her children are the lasting legacy she leaves behind.

Denise was always the first to volunteer while we were in school, leading fundraising efforts at Blessed Sacrament, St. Amelia, and Mount St. Mary Academy. She helped lead bingo, wrapping paper sales, magazine sales, and everything else in between. She was an avid supporter of the Town of Tonawanda Aquettes when Vickie swam with them, running the bingo kitchen and being the publicist. All three of us were Girl Scouts, and she was the neighborhood cookie mom, turning our living room each year into a maze of cookies to hand out to multiple troops. After adopting greyhounds from the racetrack, Denise began to help support groups, raising awareness about these beautiful dogs.

This fundraiser is dedicated to covering funeral expenses for an incredible mother who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. We humbly ask for your help in assisting us with this burden so we can focus on her memory and healing from her loss. Thank you for your support and for helping to celebrate her legacy in the most meaningful way. We are celebrating her life on May 23, 2025, which would have been our parents' 50th wedding anniversary, and we lay them to rest together.
