My name is Angie Young and I am starting this fundraiser, for the bestest brother-in-law anyone could have, Denis Tourigny!

For those that don't know, Denis cared for and was by Wanda's side until she passed away. Our story didn't have very many positive outcomes, actually, it was the total opposite, so one can imagine the bond we made going through it together and supporting each other.

Denis has ALWAYS been someone you can count on for help, and this started at a young age when he worked at the local hardware store. He gives and gives and gives and will never ask for anything in return. Denis always does everything out of the goodness of his big heart!

On August 30th, after not hearing from him for 2 days, our friend Linette went to his house to do a wellness check and he was found on the floor unconscious and rushed to the hospital. Denis suffered a heart attack, he was in a diabetic coma and developed kidney failure.

He is out of ICU and has shown some improvements, however, we don't know the extent of the damages he might have. He is sitting up, he is talking and is eating which are all good signs and a good start! He has a long journey ahead of him just to be able to get out of the hospital let alone to come home!
