It is with deep sadness that we share the tragic passing of our AIBT student, Denis Kiprono.

Denis passed away on Sunday, 15 March 2026, at Werri Beach, NSW, after a heartbreaking drowning incident. Despite the efforts made at the scene, he sadly lost his life.

Denis was a valued member of the AIBT community. He will be remembered for his presence, his aspirations, and the journey he had begun here with us. His passing has deeply affected fellow students, staff, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

During this incredibly difficult time, we are coming together to support Denis’s family. Being far from home makes this loss even more challenging, and the financial burden of arrangements and repatriation can be overwhelming.
