Why We're Asking

This isn’t about charity. This is about community.

Our good friend and neighbor, Cailey Parker, has dedicated so much time, energy, and money into rescuing countless animals from abandoned cats and dogs, sick strays, injured wildlife, even worms. She has shown up for so many people and animals throughout the years, and right now she really needs us to show up for her. ❤️

Denim's Story

This summer, immediately following one dog’s medical emergency, Cailey’s other dog, Denim, suddenly stopped acting like his joyful, goofy self. The dog who once excitedly greeted everyone with a shoe in his mouth began struggling to maintain stability. He began losing muscle and started hesitating to stand, run, or play because of the pain.

For months, Cailey visited vet after vet, trying everything and searching for answers:

• Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, Laser Therapy, Strict Rest, Multiple Medications and Supplements, Exams, X-rays, Bloodwork, etc.

Despite all of it, Denim only worsened. The only way to get any answers at this point is an MRI, which is extremely costly especially on top of everything else.

How You Can Help

Cailey typically supplements her income by dog sitting/boarding, but isn’t able to for the foreseeable future, as it puts Denim at risk of further injury so we are asking others to step up however they can.

Every donation/purchase will go directly to Denim’s MRI, epidural injection treatments, medication, and if all else fails...potentially surgery.

Why It Matters

Denim (10/10 good boy) deserves the chance to walk, run, and live without pain again. He is only six and has so many good years left to live! Without help, he risks losing more mobility and even bladder/bowel control. And Cailey deserves to have people show up for her the way she has always shown up for others.
