We are reaching out to all of our friends and family to help with some relief efforts after the flooding in Denham Springs, LA.   Betsy and  Bradford's parents, and their extended family have been a part of this community their entire lives.  According to the Mayor Gerard Landry, approximately 90 percent of the homes in Denham Springs have taken on water in a flood of historic and devastating proportions.



Highway 190 in Denham Springs, the main thoroughfare in the city of Denham Springs, has been washed out by the floodwaters.

Adding insult to the injury, the vast majority of those in the area (including TheBanta's) didn't have flood insurance.  

The funds that we raise will go towards not just the needs of the Banta's but also those of their extended family and neighbors.  It will be used to purchase food, generators, general supplies (tools, extensions cords, fans, packing tape, bins, storage units), pay for cleanup, mold removal and any restoration of walls/furniture/appliances that can be salvaged.  We are trying to get many of these items donated, but the needs of the community/neighbors are great and EVERYONE in Denham Springs has been affected by the floods.
