Dena Hanna
212 Pilkey Lane
Caryville, TN 37714
This journey began Sept. 15, 2015.
●Day 1: My Sister-in law Dena Hanna fell from a ladder from a height of about three feet. It doesn't sound like much, does it?
She dislocated her knee cap, and broke the bones in her right knee/leg in at least 8 places right at/below the joint. Dena also dislocated and broke her right shoulder in two places.
●Day 2: An external fixator was attached. Heavy rods literally screwed into her leg bones to stabilize the leg. Screwed in, on the outside.
Immediately after the surgery to install the external fixator, she had surgery on her shoulder. Metal plates and screws. Permanent muscle damage. She couldn't use her right arm for 3 months.
●Day 7: Knee repair. The knee repair needed was extensive and difficult. Muscles were cut and tiny fragments were pieced together. Dena couldn't put any weight on her right leg for over 3 months. None.

Dena currently owes to the surgeon and the anesthesiologist etc, nearly $30,000. UT Hospital wrote off the biggest part of what the hospital itself charged.
DENA STILL CAN'T WALK.
A few weeks ago, Dena was enrolled in a physical therapy program. With Dena having no insurance, Grace Rehab in Jacksboro TN has given her a reduced rate. $40 per session. That's not much, but when your income is gone, it seems like a million. She does therapy twice a week.
That's $80 a week to learn to walk.
Would you please donate $5 to help pay for her therapy, and for the other medical bills. There's still a house payment to make and there's still utility bills, etc.
PLEASE ○ HELP ○ DENA ○ WALK.
