Dena's End-of-Life Doula Training & Certification

It's Dena's birthday! Dena's unwavering commitment to advocate for and serve those in need shows up in all she does. Those of us who have had the privilege of being her friend know we do not walk alone on our darkest days because Dena is a phone call away.  She provides a space to unburden the suffering and pain of those around her. In recent months, the next step in Dena's career has become clear to her. She dreams of walking alongside people and their families in their final months and days. Dena's goal is to complete her death doula training and certification in preparation for a career transition.  Death doulas provide emotional, spiritual, and physical support at an intensely personal and crucial time. They assist people in finding meaning, creating a legacy project, and planning for how the last days will unfold. Doulas also guide and support loved ones through the last days of life and ease their suffering of grief. Certificate programs require time, energy, and, of course, financial means.   For her birthday this year, I am asking for your assistance to help Dena achieve her dream of obtaining a death doula certification.
