Dena Moore (Black) Memorial Fund

With a heavy heart, I share that on January 27th, I lost a dear, amazing friend, Dena Moore (Black) to Covid-19 related pneumonia. Dena fought courageously for 25 days in the hospital, but her lungs eventually gave way and we lost a beautiful soul. Most importantly, she left behind a husband Mike, a son Alex Shepard and daughter-in-law, Jennifer, and a bonus daughter Alexis Moore.

In lieu of the traditional memorial gifts of flowers and donations to charities, I am requesting that all of us contribute to this GoFundMe offering for the Moore family to help with funeral, medical and planning expenses along with lost wages that this young family was not prepared to encounter.

Not only has Mike lost the love of his life, he has also lost Dena's support in taking care of her mother, Barbara, who remains in Mike's care in their shared home. Dena was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and friend and her beautiful soul will leave a giant hole in all of our lives. 100% of what we contribute will assist Mike in these tragic times.
