Our beloved, Geraldine “Dena” L. Coleman went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Saturday, April 25th. Dena was a devoted mother, loving sister, caring aunt, and loyal friend. She leaves behind her young daughter Brittney.
Dena was diagnosed with stage four liver cancer three years ago. Despite the dire news, she lived her life to the fullest never losing faith in God that she would be his miracle. As an active member of her church, Dare to Imagine, she participated in their Women’s Ministry and Walking group.
Dena’s greatest joy was taking care of Brittney. She supported Brittney's love of dance and they would spend their free time together. In Brittney's words, (Dena ) "taught me how to love, taught me how to like, and taught me how to be me."
Those who knew Dena will remember her incredible heart and willingness to help anyone in need, her conversations full of wit and dry humor, and her delicious cooking especially her famous potato salad.
We are all devastated by Dena’s untimely passing and are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Dena’s funeral due to restrictions caused by the Coronavirus pandemic. We need to raise $4000 by Friday, May 1st, in order to be able to afford the funeral service.

Thank you very much!
