Save „Quinta Mama Cadi“ - a paradise for all of us

Mein Name ist Matthias und ich wende mich in einer absoluten Herzensangelegenheit an euch.

Zeit meines Lebens bin ich von tollen Menschen umgeben, die mein Leben sehr lebenswert machen und es wird Zeit - und zudem aktuell auch notwendig - davon etwas zurückzugeben.

In diesem speziellen Fall geht es um ganz besondere Freunde - eine kleine Familie - nämlich Carmen, Mario und die kleine Malou.

Carmen ist eine ganz besondere Freundin, nicht zuletzt deshalb, weil ich sie schon mein ganzes Leben lang kenne.

Sie, ihr Freund Mario und deren kleine, zuckersüße Tochter Malou haben sich vor etwas mehr als zwei Jahren in das sehr mutige Abenteuer gestürzt, Deutschland zu verlassen und ein neues Leben in Portugal aufzubauen.

In Zentralportugal, nahe der Stadt Castelo Branco, haben die drei ihr Domizil gefunden und stecken dort all ihre Energie, Blut, Schweiß und Tränen in das Projekt, auf dem gekauften Grundstück ein Camp für Urlauber entstehen zu lassen.

„Quinta Mama Cadi“ haben sie das Camp getauft und ich durfte schon im vergangenen Jahr ein Teil davon sein, dieses Camp – das vor allem mit sehr viel Liebe gebaut wird - mit aufzubauen.

Geplant ist, dieses Camp noch dieses Jahr zu eröffnen.

Dieses ganz spezielle Camp zeichnet sich vor allem durch seine Naturverbundenheit aus, alles wird aus natürlichen Materialien erschaffen, sodass möglichst wenig in die Natur eingegriffen werden muss.

Sehr beeindruckt bin ich zudem von der Vehemenz, mit der die kleine Familie sich selbst versorgt.

Mit ihrem Camp wollen die drei den Touristen einen Ort der Ruhe abseits des Massentourismus bieten. Alles in allem also eine Oase der Entschleunigung.

Auch in diesem Jahr bin ich wieder dabei - dieses Mal mit Unterstützung meines Freundes Heshi.

Warum bin ich wieder dabei?

Weil ich zum Einen die Menschen, die ich mag, nur zu gerne unterstütze und weil ich zum Anderen nicht nur ein großer Fan dieses Projekts bin, sondern diese kleine Familie für die Werte, die sie vertreten und ihre Lebensweise, sowie den damit verbundenen Mut, liebe und schätze.

Heute waren Heshi und ich mit dem Auto von Mario und Carmen unterwegs, um die Umgebung zu erkunden. Und ausgerechnet auf dieser Fahrt brennt die Kupplung des Autos durch.

Nun hat das Auto auch schon fast 500.000 km hinter sich und befindet sich damit am Ende seines

Autolebens. Mit diesem leuchtend blauen VW T4 bestreiten Sie ihr ganzes Leben und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel gibt es in dieser Gegend so gut wie gar nicht.

Nun ein neues Auto zu kaufen, würde bedeuten, dass sie den Traum vom Leben in Portugal und den Traum „Quinta Mama Cadi“ begraben müssten.

Bitte hilf mir dabei, dass dieser Traum weiter gelebt werden kann.

Denn unabhängig davon, dass „Quinta Mama Cadi“ ein Herzensprojekt ist, haben es die drei mehr als verdient, ihren Traum leben zu dürfen.

My name is Matthias and I am writing to you in an absolute matter of my heart.

All my life I am surrounded by great people who make my life very worth living and it is time - and also currently also necessary - to give something back.

In this specific case it is about very special friends - a small family - namely Carmen, Mario and little Malou.

Carmen is a very special friend, not least because I have known her all my life.

She, her boyfriend Mario and their little, cute daughter Malou plunged into the very brave adventure of leaving Germany and building a new life in Portugal just over two years ago.

In central Portugal, near the city of Castelo Branco, the three have found their domicile and put all their energy, blood, sweat and tears into the project of creating a camp for vacationers on the purchased property.

"Quinta Mama Cadi" they have baptized the camp and I was already allowed to be a part of it last year to help build this camp - which is built above all with a lot of love.

It is planned to open this camp this year.

This very special camp is characterized above all by its closeness to nature, everything is created from natural materials, so that as little as possible has to be intervened in nature.

I am also very impressed by the vehemence with which the small family provides for itself.

With their camp, the three want to offer tourists a place of peace away from mass tourism. All in all, an oasis of deceleration.

I'm back this year - this time with the support of my friend Heshi.

Why am I back?

Because on the one hand I am only too happy to support the people I like and on the other hand I am not only a big fan of this project, but I love and appreciate this small family for the values they represent and their way of life, as well as the courage associated with it.

Today, Heshi and I were driving Mario and Carmen's car to explore the area. And above of all things on this trip the clutch burned out.

Now the car has almost 500,000 km behind it and is thus at the end of its car life. With this bright blue VW T4 they manage their whole life and there is almost no public transport in this area.

Buying a new car now would mean that they would have to bury the dream of living in Portugal and the dream of "Quinta Mama Cadi".

Please help me so that this dream can be lived on.

Because regardless of the fact that "Quinta Mama Cadi" is a heart project, the three more than deserve to be able to live their dream.
