Family needing help after sons almost fatal accident

UPDATE.. The second surgery was a success and his body is responding to treatment and able to go home. Unfortunately, both parents were out of work for almost 2 weeks so they’re still needing help with rent, food , and bills.. Anything will help

Hi my name is Brittany and on Sunday December 21st one of my best friends kid Demitri hurt his neck jumping off the couch… His mom Mel rushed him to the hospital and unfortunately they found an abscess on the back of his neck next to his spine so he was taking by ambulance to Primary Childrens hospital.. He’s only 6 and his poor little body is not responding to antibiotics or any treatments. Unfortunately mom got the news today December 26th that they will be doing the operation to remove it. Because it’s by his spine this was the last resort and prayers are needed. Mom and dad have been to scared to leave there sons side so they haven’t left the hospital or been to work since Sunday, And won’t be leaving until there sons life is saved and he’s ok! So they will have no money coming in for however long this takes to save their sons life! I’m asking for donations to help with hospital bills, food and gas, rent, and anything else this family may need. Any help is greatly appreciated This kid is like a nephew to me. Thank you in advance
